Advisor Growth Coaching

Most Nextgen advisors don’t have the skills needed to meet the expectations of the role. Our Advisor Growth Coaching service empowers your Nextgen advisor with the skills and systems to drive revenue, service clients, and develop into a potential successor.

Skill Building: We take the burden off you to teach core client service and growth generating skills to the advisor. This is achieved through coaching and role playing so the advisor has the knowledge and the practical experience to put these skills to use. 

Provide Accountability: We provide a cadence of accountability focused on the metrics and activities you identify as most important to ensure that the advisor is meeting the expectations of the role. 

Leader Support: We also assist the advisor's leader with guidance on how to provide direction and accountability to their Nextgen advisor on a day-to-day basis, as well as address any concerns or needs that arise.

Team Coaching

Scheduled 1 hour bi-weekly coaching sessions with the entire team:

Purpose – To ensure process implementation and accountability.

Session Recap – Coach provides a meeting summary and list of actionable items following each coaching session.

Process Training & Insights – Each session includes hands-on training to reinforce the processes being implemented, while also uncovering workflow gaps, inefficiencies, or team alignment issues that need to be addressed.

Annual Business Valuation

Immediately upon starting with Advisor Legacy, you will receive our award winning valuation. The detailed report services as a guidepost for managing practice equity and comes with a 45-minute valuation review with a Valuation Coach who will explain your results and make recommendations. You will receive an updated valuation annually throughout the life of our coaching relationship. 

LegacyChoice Elite Membership

You are also immediately enrolled in our LegacyChoice Elite Membership program. This gives you access to new practice listings, the ability to bid on practices of interest, discounts on certain legacy services, and access to our exclusive monthly webinar on practice acquisitions topics. 

Bi-weekly Coaching Sessions

At the core of our service is the 1:1 biweekly coaching sessions (26 sessions per year). During these sessions you will receive live coaching support, followed by a meeting summary and action items.

1:1 Advisor Coaching Meeting
  • Structure: 1 hour, monthly

  • Who: Financial Advisors

  • Purpose: To provide a space for role play, accountability, and development that is customized to the Advisor.

  • Post Meeting: Coach to follow up with a detailed meeting summary and action items.

Advisor Group Coaching Meeting
  • Structure: 1 hour, monthly

  • Who: Financial Advisors

  • Purpose: To provide training on tools and concepts that focus on organic growth.

  • Post Meeting: Coach to follow up with a detailed meeting summary and action items for group members.

Leadership Update Meeting
  • Structure: 1 hour, quarterly

  • Who: Owners/Leaders of the Financial Advisor(s) being coached

  • Purpose: To provide a space for updates on progress of the Advisor(s) and an opportunity for coaching the leader in ways they can better support their Advisor(s).

  • Post Meeting: Coach to follow up with a detailed meeting summary and strategies/action items to support the Advisor(s).

Drives business expansion through marketing, client acquisition, relationship building, and sales training, using strategies like niche targeting, referrals, and scorecards.

Prospecting

Using a variety of online and offline techniques to generate prospective clients. 

Social Media

Using social media such as LinkedIn for prospecting, as well as for building brand awareness.

Centers of Influence

Building strategic partnerships with CPAs, lawyers, and other COIs.

Nesting

How to position oneself to a local company to become the content-matter-expert on that companies benefits, retirement programs, etc.   

Business Planning

Using historical data and short-term and long-term business objectives to outline annual business plans.

Niche Marketing

Identifying a target market and executing tailored marketing campaigns to attract and onboard ideal clients. 

Branding

Cultivating an authentic personal brand and market differentiation tactics. 

Referrals

Consistently and effectively requesting referrals from clients, strategic partners, and other sources. 

Generational Planning 

Strategies to identify, get introduced, and build relationships with client beneficiaries/heirs.

Lead Management

Strategies to consistently and effectively nurture and convert prospective clients. 

Value Proposition

Defining and communicating advisor and practice value to prospects and clients.

Time Management

Frameworks to design and execute a model week so that the most important activities get done.
